No, not the film, silly!

As you will see from the opening notes to this story's posting, I found this written version of the famous story while doing some on-line surfing. It's quite rare to find any written version, since the tale began as part of wartime oral tradition seventy years ago or more. And the original text was not well organized, and had lots of errors. So I decided to edit it and post my edited version. It's still not the kind of story any contemporary, well-informed reader of pornography would expect today: it's too mild, too corny, and too predictable. But it's worth having a written version accessible to those who haven't really heard the entire story.

Perhaps, someday, I will write my own version of the story that reflects how I first heard it, but as filtered through my own contemporary, somewhat more transgressive perspective.
